In March, Specialist Search Dogs continued our dedicated involvement in the ongoing searches for 2 missing person. These long-term operations remain a key focus and reinforce the importance of consistent training, readiness, and teamwork.
We also delivered a Water Search and Rescue (WSAR) training session in Annan with SCOO Stewart Bryden. The session was highly productive, with several members achieving new certifications and others refreshing existing qualifications.
A major highlight of the month was an exceptionally generous donation from our longtime friend and supporter, Tony, who donated vital SAR equipment to the charity—including a boat, sonar system, and engine. This is a significant asset to our operational capability, and we extend our sincere thanks to Tony for his continued support.
