In September, we were supported by an outstanding fundraising effort as our member Emma Burgh completed the West Highland Way to raise vital funds for Specialist Search Dogs—helping us continue training, maintain equipment, and remain ready to deploy.
We also had a rare opportunity to train with Jens Frank (SWDI) at North West Scent Work. Over three intensive days, our teams focused on building motivation and resilience in detection dogs, with particular emphasis on the correct application of reinforcement. A huge thank you to everyone involved for making the weekend such a success.
